You will have seen that the CWU’s National Executive voted to recommend Jeremy Corbyn and Angela Eagle as their preferred candidates for the Labour Leader and Deputy Leadership. This is a recommendation to all members, however, it is a free vote and branches are free to make alternative recommendations.
Your Branch Executive debated this on Monday 3rd August and agreed to make an alternative recommendation to Mersey Branch Members to vote for ANDY BURNHAM for Labour Leader and ANGELA EAGLE for Deputy Leader.
